Specialty Puppets

OFC's Puppets are extra special "show stoppers" to bring your production to the next level. Some of our puppets are based off original Broadway production designs and have been replicated for regional use, while other puppets are new creations designed by the OFC team.

OFC puppets have been on stage in California, New York, Nevada, South Carolina, and beyond. Local pickup and nationwide shipping available for all items.

Olaf Puppet

Do you want to build a snowman? Now you don’t have to with OFC’s professional Broadway-style Olaf!

​

  • Custom puppet built by Luna Puppets for the first production of Frozen Jr in Rochester NY
     

  • Olaf comes in two parts— torso on harness and head. Top head sticks need to be taken in and out when storing
     

  • The animatronic talking head comes with separate remote. 2 electric charging ports need attention after each use. The mouth has three settings: shut, slightly open, full open.
     

  • Please note that the mouth movements will need to be controlled by a separate person in the booth or offstage via remote control
     

  • Adjustable size puppet for actors size 4’5” to 5’7”. Actor must wear harness and may need assistance getting in and out of costume
     

  • Olaf’s head comes in custom built traveling case for safety. Remaining parts come in a large box along with a coordinated costume for actor/puppeteer. Feet no longer included due to safety constraints.
     

  • Rental Rate: $825 plus shipping (est $250) for two weeks (based on availability). Rental rate includes video training with an OFC team member. This includes safety instructions and written storage instructions

Hei Hei Puppet

Bring Your Production of Moana to the Professional Level with OFC’s professional Broadway style Hei Hei puppet!

  • Custom professionally built puppet by Luna Puppets for Moana Jr in Rochester NY
     

  • Hei Hei comes 28” (2.3 feet) tall on a mounted metal base with wheels
     

  • The puppet is fully animatronic with opening mouth and head movement (video on our website). He runs off a 4x AA rechargeable battery pack. Charging cable included
     

  • Hei Hei can be carried anywhere except his neck—feet, legs, base, body—or alternatively can be placed on a pull cart and left on stage to react and move even when no actor is present. Pull cart is included.
     

  • Rental Rate: $425 plus shipping for two weeks (based on availability). Rental rate includes video training with an OFC team member. This includes safety instructions and written storage instructions

Gary the Snail Puppet

Crawl, roll, or just meow onto stage with Spongebob the Musical's Gary the Snail!

  • Custom built puppet/prop for the first production of Spongebob the Musical in Rochester, NY
     

  • Gary the Snail comes roughly one foot tall, mounted to a rolling skateboard. Most of Gary was 3D printed and may require heavy duty glue during accidents
     

  • Gary the Snail will need to be pushed on from the wings to get him on stage. Actors may pick him up by the skateboard, but he does not move on his own. Gary's eyes now wiggle with springs.
     

  • There are currently 2 Gary puppets available 
     

  • Rental Rate: $150 plus shipping (est $60) for two weeks (based on availability). Rental rate includes video training with an OFC team member. This includes safety instructions and written storage instructions

Madagascar Penguin Puppets

Sneak your way onto stage or make a big splash with Madagascar penguin puppets!

  • Four brand new penguins (Private, Kowalski, Skipper and Rico) perfect for productions of Madagascar Jr or Madagascar TYA
     

  • Each puppet features their individual personality in the eyes and eyebrows
     

  • Wear the penguins with an optional buckling snap (for big dance numbers!) or hold the penguin by the traditional rod inside the puppet
     

  • Rental Rate: $200 plus shipping for two weeks (based on availability). Rental rate includes video training with an OFC team member. This includes safety instructions and written storage instructions

James and the Giant Peach Puppets

"Right Before Your Eyes" James and the Giant Peach will come to life on stage with creative storytelling.

​

  • Six puppets for the musical productions of James and the Giant Peach, James and the Giant Peach Jr, and James and the Giant Peach TYA. 
     

  • Each puppet is used in the first half of the show when the insect visits James before "coming to life" on the peach. These puppets will give more opportunities to ensemble cast members to be on stage controlling the puppets
     

  • Puppets include: Mr. and Mrs. Spider, Grasshopper, Lady Bug, Centipede, and Inch Worm. Each puppet is controlled differently based on how the character moves.
     

  • Rental Rate: $300 plus shipping for two weeks (based on availability). Rental rate includes video training with an OFC team member. This includes safety instructions and written storage instructions

Seuss Fish Puppets

Create a memorable production number

  • 15 Seuss Fish painted as Red Fish, Blue Fish, Yellow Fish
     

  • Each fish is painted with double sided UV paint to come to life when hit by UV lights, making the actors disappear (use a spot to hit JoJo!)
     

  • Fish are lightweight and made of foam 
     

  • Fish are easily controlled with skinny, black painted dowel 
     

  • Rental Rate: $300 for two weeks (based on availability). Encouraging local pick ups only as shipping rates will be high. Any shipping or transportation costs will be included in your rental contract.

The Snowths Puppets

Am I a muppet or a man?

  • Two iconic puppets of "The Snowths" from the Muppets TV series
     

  • Approximately 2ft tall each
     

  • Traditionally operated with arm inside which opens and closes the mouth
     

  • Rental Rate: $225 for two weeks (based on availability). Any shipping or transportation costs will be included in your rental contract.

Milky White Puppet

The cow as white as milk now on stage!

​

  • Rolling Milky White unit, roughly 5ft long and 2.5ft tall
     

  • Rope around neck for pulling on stage and throughout scenes
     

  • Mouth opens for the feeding, feet have attached wheels
     

  • Rental Rate: $250 for two weeks (based on availability). Milky White is too big to ship, she is available for local pick up only.

Moonfish Puppets

Look no further for Moonfish Puppets while you are Finding Nemo!

  • 20 hand puppets are 15 inches long and 9 inches high.
     

  • Puppets have slightly varying designs, but all are held with one hole for hand control
     

  • Rental Rate: $225 for two weeks (based on availability). Shipping available
